DAPPER LABEL

Dapper Label is about looking sharp, so I took inspiration from old tailoring houses and art deco signage, where everything is tall, slim and precise. I kept the strokes fine and elegant, then gave it personality in the details: each A has a teardrop-shaped bowl, like a drop of ink from a fountain pen, and each E has a soft wave across the middle like a fold of silk. The two lines sit so close that the letters almost touch, so DAPPER and LABEL read as one tailored piece. A soft charcoal grey instead of harsh black makes it feel refined rather than loud. It works beautifully on garment labels, hang tags and boxes, wherever the brand needs to feel premium.
